The founder
Pascale Chavance
DMOKA® was created by Pascale Chavance, a qualified orthoptist in both hospital and private practice, and has been continuously developed since 2005. The method is enriched by clinical feedback from trained practitioners and by research in integrative psychotraumatology.
Training delivery is carried out by Thierry Dudreuilh, Corine Mini, Caroline Pierrisnard and Anne-Elise Robert, in close collaboration with the founder.
The trainer
Thierry Dudreuilh
Thierry Dudreuilh is a Psycho-somatic Analyst, trainer and DMOKA® practitioner since 2013; he has been delivering the method to professionals in France and abroad for many years.
Also a Person-Centred Counsellor (from coaching to psychotherapy in the tradition of Carl Rogers) and International Mediator since 1992, he has extensive experience of extreme trauma, having intervened in war zones on 18 occasions across Europe and worldwide.
With over thirty years of experience in neuroscience, therapeutic support and helping relationships, he combines regular clinical practice with intensive training delivery. His teaching approach is founded on rigour, kindness and a commitment to developing autonomous, responsible practitioners.

Safety
The DMOKA® therapeutic framework places patient safety at the heart of every interaction. Training emphasises prior assessment, informed consent and management of in-session responses.
Consent
No stimulation is performed without the patient's explicit consent. The DMOKA® practitioner is trained to obtain and respect this consent at every stage of the process.
Supervision
Autonomous practice is accompanied by an ongoing supervision framework. Trained practitioners commit to maintaining active clinical reflexivity and participating in intervision sessions (at least 1 session per year). Network of good practices.
Rigour
DMOKA® claims an integrative clinical positioning, founded on observation, caution and transparency regarding the current limits of its scientific foundations.
